You might think that replacing a roof would be a week-long project, but the reality is that we get most homes done within one day.  When we replace a roof, we yard prep top protect your plantings and other areas, tearing off your old shingles, inspecting your plywood, laying quality underlayment, installing the shingles followed by a thorough clean-up.

Asphalt shingle roofs often show clear signs that it’s time for a replacement, including missing or damaged shingles, curled or buckled shingles, and granule loss (you can see it in your gutters).

The expected lifespan of an asphalt shingle roof is between 15-30 years, depending on factors such as wind, storms, and maintenance. Regular maintenance is essential to extend the lifespan of an asphalt shingle roof and includes cleaning your gutters and trimming overhanging tree branches. Asphalt shingles are naturally fire-resistant, making them an ideal choice for areas with prominent wildfires.

Typically, if your roof is over 10 years old, once a year unless you have had hail or a bad storm or you notice visible damage or leaks.  The frequency will depend on several factors, including your roof’s age, its condition and any previous issues or repairs you’ve had made.  If you have any concerns at all, we offer Free Roof Inspections.

All of the old materials should be removed to the bare wood.  New felt, shingles and typically gutters as well as vents, etc…. 

First get a roof inspection to determine the damage (we do this for free).  If there is a leak, we can fix this right away.  Once you know the extent of the damage, you can determine whether to start a claim or not depending on your insurance coverage, deductible and other factors.  We will be with you every step of the way, from initial inspection, with the insurance adjuster and installing your new roof.
